GCL Perovskite
Bin Fan is the Founder and Chairman of GCL Perovskite, a position he has held since 2010. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry from Tsinghua University, Beijing, and went on to earn his Doctoral degree in Chemistry from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) between 2007 and 2010. Under his leadership, GCL Perovskite has grown into a pioneering force in the Perovskite solar sector. His contributions to the field have been widely recognised, including the prestigious First Prize of the China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award (2022), the National "Key Talent" Designation (2019), the Jiangsu Provincial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent award (2017), and the Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship from the China Association for Science and Technology (2016).
