Ratnesh Bedi

Ratnesh Bedi has been President of Pacific Energy since 2011. He plays a leading role in advancing Pacific Energy’s mission to be one of the world’s most innovative, low-emission and responsible natural gas companies.

Ratnesh leads the development and construction of Woodfibre LNG, which is designed to be the world’s lowest-emission LNG export facility. Located in Squamish, near Vancouver, Canada, the project is a cornerstone of Pacific Energy’s strategy to develop a responsible, integrated natural gas supply chain. Ratnesh provides executive leadership across the project, from design and construction through to completion, including permitting, contractor management, First Nations and community engagement, and financing.

At Pacific Canbriam Energy, a member of Pacific Energy, Ratnesh also leads the development of an integrated natural gas supply chain connecting EO100™ certified natural gas production in British Columbia with Woodfibre LNG and receiving terminals in Jiangsu, Fujian and Guangdong, China.

Ratnesh joined Pacific Energy as Finance Director in 2003. A Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he began his career in India’s construction and property sector before holding senior positions with KPMG and Deloitte Advisory in Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi.
