Faced with lower energy prices and continued growth in energy demand, Asia’s need to increase and diversify the region’s energy supplies remains more important than ever. The oversupply of oil is set to remain in global markets, with energy prices expected to remain lower for longer. Cheaper oil means producers need to squeeze the value out of every last drop. Production needs to be smarter by leveraging on new technology to cut costs to remain efficient and nimble. This session will explore the implications and how the industry will adapt.
