Renewable energy has developed rapidly over the past five years. As an experienced renewable energy project developer with 18 years in the industry, CNE has greatly benefited from the advancements in wind power and photovoltaic technologies. However, CNE still face the challenge of balancing the intermittency of power generation with the stability of the power network.
Energy storage and P2X technologies are considered key solutions to this issue. In recent years, CNE has deployed several energy storage system projects and is planning some P2X projects. We will showcase and analyze some typical projects, and also develop tools for planning Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and P2X projects. CNE is keen to share our experiences to contribute to a net-zero future for Singapore.
