Thomas BAUDLOT is leading the Finance, Strategy and New Business for ENGIE South East Asia cluster, one of the fastest growing key business clusters under ENGIE AsiaPacific organization towards zero-carbon transition ambition by delivering solutions “as a service” to its customers.
In his current role, Thomas presides over ENGIE’s activities for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines. He oversees financial matters as well as the planning and execution of ENGIE’s strategy in the South East Asia countries. He also takes charge of the development of Partnerships, Merger & Acquisition and Business Development on strategic verticals, namely Industries, Energy Efficiency, Solar & Renewables, Digital Solutions, Data Centres, etc.
Hitherto, Thomas has been helming as Chief Financial Officer of ENGIE Services Asia-Pacific, managing a perimeter of 2,500 employees across Asia-Pacific offering solutions and technical services in energy efficiency for cities, industries and commercial buildings across the key markets covering Singapore, Australia, New-Zealand, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.
Before relocating to Asia from France four years ago, Thomas has been with the ENGIE Group for more than a decade and has played significant contributory roles in critical corporate projects, including the merger of energy services activities of SUEZ and GDF Groups.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from EPITA Paris, and an executive MBA degree from ESCP Europe.
